Cricket legend, Sachin Tendulkar says the decision by the IOC to include cricket on the sports programme of the LA2028 Summer Olympic Games is a start of something truly special.

Cricket returns to the Olympics after a 128-years hiatus.

President of the Jamaica Olympic Association, Christopher Samuda, says he supports Tendulkar’s summary of the IOC’s decision.

Samuda says opportunities abound for cricket development to benefit from the sport’s inclusion on the Olympic Games programme for 2028.
