Commerce Minister: Gov’t, Opp Collaboration Key to Reducing Debt-to-GDP Ratio

Minister of Industry, Investment and Commerce, Senator Aubyn Hill, says collaboration between the government and the opposition is key to reducing Jamaica’s debt-to-GDP ratio.

Senator Hill was speaking Wednesday at the Jamaica Manufacturers and Exporters Association’s ‘Manufacture 360 Conference’ held at AC Marriott Hotel in New Kingston.

Senator Hill noted what he says are key points around the issue, raised in parliament this week by Opposition Spokesperson on Investment, Anthony Hylton.

Minister Hill says the key to increased exports is higher productivity.
