Cavalier Drops Points in Arnett Gardens Draw

Former champions Cavalier missed an opportunity to return to the summit of the Wray and Nephew/Jamaica Premier League for the second time in a week.

On Thursday night, Cavalier were held to a 2-2 draw by Arnett Gardens in a rescheduled game at the Tony Spaulding Complex.

Captain, Fabian Reid, shot Arnett in front on 21 minutes but Kyle Ming restored parity 10 minutes later.

Arnett were back in front three minutes later thanks to Joel Cunningham. However, Dwayne Atkinson gave Cavalier a share of the points after firing home on 39 minutes.

Cavalier are now on 45 points, one behind leaders and reigning champions Mount Pleasant Academy.
