Switzerland-based reggae and dancehall recording artiste Cali P has expressed gratitude to the public for supporting his music, following the release of his latest single ' Secret Hater'.
The song, which was produced jointly by himself and Suku from the famed Ward 21 Crew, was released on September 27.
"I always say thanks to the public, new and long-time followers and supporters. I am grateful for the energy around the song now," remarked Cali P, who added that the single is a preview of his upcoming full-length project called Infinity.
"It is 11 songs for my people. I produced the project all by myself and included all the music that has influenced me ever since. I have been influenced by so many different genres of music, so this project is very versatile. It includes dancehall, reggae, new-school dancehall, Afrobeats, amapiano, reggaeton and soulful ballads," he said.
Cali P added that Secret Hater represents authentic music and has been getting strong support in Jamaica, Europe, the Caribbean and North America.
"The way Secret Hater is getting the love right now, I decided to make a whole riddim album with it," he said. Another release from the rhythm is Anything, which he did with UK TikTok dancehall sensation M Dot R.
"It has already gone viral on TikTok, reaching a whole different generation," said Cali P. He also stated that he is currently preparing for a tour in Uganda.
"I am very excited about it," he said, having already performed in other African countries, including Gambia, Ethiopia, Guinea, and the Ivory Coast.
