Following his sold-out shows at the UBS arena in Long Island, New York over the weekend, Buju Banton has announced that he will be embarking on a United States tour.
Dubbed The Overcomer Tour, shows are already set for a number of locations in the United States including Florida, Texas, Arizona, New York and Washington DC. The tour is expected to run from August 24 to September 29. There is also one show date in November.
The upcoming tour from the Grammy-winning artiste will feature guest artiste Fridayy, a Haitian American singer, songwriter, and record producer who is making waves in the music industry with hits such as ‘When It Comes To You’ and ‘Stand By Me’, and his appearance on the triple Grammy-nominated ‘God Did’ by Dj Khaled, which also features Rick Ross, Lil Wayne, Jay-Z and John Legend.
Buju Banton’s manager Joesph Budafuco expressed great pride in Banton’s accomplishments and the monumental nature of the tour, the reggae superstar’s first in the United States after a 15-year hiatus.
The tour will be produced by AG Touring in association with Gargamel Music, XO Management, Mammoth and Eventim. Tickets will be available for purchase at www.bujubanton.com.
