Bounty Killer Rejoices At Removal Of Dennis Meadown, Everald Warmington: “Patty Pan Politricks Done”

Bounty Killer is rejoicing at the resignation of errant politician Everald Warmington, the former Minister of Works and the banishment of former PNP Caretaker for North Trelawny, Dennis Meadows, describing both men as undesirables, who are “thinking like common criminals”.

His recent comments came in the aftermath of Meadows’ endorsement of lotto scamming activities during a PNP political public meeting in Trelawny, and a declaration made by Warmington to JLP supporters following Monday’s Local Government Elections, that, as Minister of Works and a Member of Parliament, no PNP councillor ‘would utilize his funds.’

“Yeah bro take a very long walk.  Right decision.  Only people of integrity and good accountability can and will help this country and its nation going forward.  Patty pan politricks done,” Bounty wrote on Instagram, where he shared a Star article of the announcement of Warmington’s resignation yesterday.

“And the next one name Meadows on the other side who is encouraging our young folks into choppa must go too.  Nasty naaga dem🤮,” Bounty had written, before learning about the banishment of Meadows.

Added the Warlord: “Can’t be having ppl like those making laws passing legislations and governing the country when they are thinking like common criminals and speaking it out clearly too that’s disrespectful not democracy but yet hypocrisy PUUUUUUSH DEM OUT NOOOOOW!!!” he said.

On Monday night, Warmington had also told a throng of cheering supporters from his. St Catherine South West Constituency, that Lloyd Grant, the unsuccessful JLP candidate who had been defeated by the PNP’s Dr Kurt Waul, might not hold the title of councillor, but he would “spend every dime.

Warmington had subsequently come under national pressure and stepped down from the Andrew Holness-led Cabinet on Thursday after making the controversial remarks.

In announcing Warmington’s resignation on Thursday, Holness had said that the MP had submitted his resignation following a meeting earlier in the day.

“I thanked him for his service in that capacity and Minister Warmington expressed gratitude for the opportunity to serve,” the PM had noted in a release from the Office of the Prime Minister.

Meadows, on the other hand, had been banished by PNP President Mark Golding.   In a statement Thursday, the PNP leader had said that the continuation of Mr. Meadows as candidate was “untenable in light of his egregious remarks on the platform, given that scamming is one of Jamaica’s most serious national security challenges”.

Golding had also said that the removal of Meadows ought to serve as a precedent to all who serve under his leadership.

“We are demanding higher standards of accountability. Jamaica will no longer tolerate weak, unprincipled leaders who say one thing but do another. Jamaicans deserve better, and I will give it to them,” Golding said.

In the viral video, Meadows had strutted across a stage, whilst condoning lottery scam related activities, also known in Jamaica as “chapping”.

“Let me tell you straight up, and me can speak openly, I have no problem with a man if him want chop because dem chop us during slavery, so nut’n no wrong if wi chop dem back…nut’n nuh wrong wid weh yah do,” he had stated.

While Meadows had apologised for the comments, the following day, many commentators suggested an apology was not enough and the PNP needed to take swift and decisive action against him.

On Bounty’s page, there was a flurry of comments endorsing his arguments about the ousting of the two men.

When one fan remarked that: “Mark fired Meadows first this morning”, Bounty replied: “Awesome 👏🏿” later adding in reference to Warmington: “He should uphold the constitution he swore on… him fi gweh”.

He greeted iamjahprince’s “Push Dem Out! Policy over politics” statement with : “ How many times I had told dem😌”.

For decades, Bounty Killer has made his contempt for politicians he considered dishonourable well clear.   But it was in June 2020, that he made it known that he despised scammers, and upbraided them for their obsession with money, bling, and status.

At the time, the Seaview Gardens native had said that scammers’ tendency to show off their ill-gotten gains on others, was also an indication of their muddled thinking and a reflection of their moral bankruptcy.

He had also said that their penchant for the bling lifestyle and quick money, was not only leading them astray, but said their hype lifestyle was always short-lived.

“Show mi one a di scamma dem weh deh yah fi 10 year and happy.  Weh di blood__t him deh?” he had asked. “Dem p__y hole deh, a short term dem get.  Eat a food an laugh and talk and hol a hype and two day yuh nuh si dem.   Weh di scamma weh deh yah from 10 year, weh him deh?  Weh him business deh? A which house him have up a Norbrook and Cherry Gardens, an si dung pon him verandah an nobaddy naw look fi him?  Weh him deh?  A dat dem naa tink bout.”
