Bangladesh Beat WI in 2nd Test at Sabina Park

Bangladesh beat the West Indies by 101-runs to level the 2-match test series 1-1 at Sabina Park, today.

The win represents Bangladesh’s first victory in the Caribbean in 15-years.

Chasing 287 to win, the Windies were bowled out for 185.

Kavem Hodge made 55, captain Kraigg Brathwaite 43 and Justin Greaves 20.

Taijul Islam took 5-wickets, while Hasan Mahmud and Taskin Ahmed bagged 2 apiece.

Earlier, Bangladesh were bowled out for 268, with Jaker Ali top scoring with a half century.

Ali’s 91 include 8-fours and 5-sixes, while Shadman Islam made 46 and Captain Mehidy Hasan 42.

Alzarri Joseph and Kemar Roach each took 3-wickets.

Final scores, Bangladesh 164 and 268, West Indies 146 and 185.

Hasan says losing was not an option.
