Arnett Gardens are new leaders of the Wray and Nephew/Jamaica Premier League.
The former champions beat Vere United 2-0 at the Tony Spaulding Complex on Monday night to replace Waterhouse at the top of the standings on goal difference.
Captain Marlon Martin gave Arnett the lead on 52 minutes and Rushike Kelson applied the gloss in the 88th minute.
In the first game of the double header, Molynes United came from behind to beat Racing 2-1 thanks to goals from Jason Wright and Jeremy Nelson.
