The two Test series between West Indies and Bangladesh gets underway on Friday morning at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua and Barbuda.
The clash features two teams who have misfired this year, with the Windies winning just one of their seven Test matches in 2024. Bangladesh, meanwhile, are coming off a 2-0 series defeat to South Africa.
The visitors have been weakened by the absence of two of their star batters, Mushfiqur and Shanto.
The Windies could make two changes to the side that played the last Test against England with Justine Greaves and Alzarri Joseph likely to come in for Jason Holder and Gudakesh Motie.
Experienced pacer Kemar Roach is also available and could get in, having taken 50 wickets in nine Tests at the venue.
Commentator Joseph “Reds” Perreira says the final eleven for West Indies should make interesting reading.
